On June 5, 2026, Academician Zhang Xigang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) visited Chengdu Datong Road & Bridge Machinery Co., Ltd. for an inspection and guidance session. Mr. Wu Datong, Chairman of the Company, together with the management, technical, and business teams, warmly welcomed the delegation and presented a comprehensive report on the company’s development and strategic initiatives.

During the meeting, Chairman Wu introduced the company’s recent development achievements, highlighting its technological expertise, R&D capabilities, and innovation accomplishments in the field of critical bridge components. He also outlined Datong’s industry-academia-research collaborations with leading institutions, including the National Engineering Research Center for Highway Long-Span Bridge Construction of CCCC and the State Key Laboratory of Safety, Durability and Intelligent Operation & Maintenance of Long-Span Bridges.
