Chengdu, August 21 — The “Jiaorong Tianxia” brand bridge bearings, jointly developed by Chengdu Datong Road & Bridge Machinery Co., Ltd. (Datong Road & Bridge), China Communications Materials Co., Ltd. (CCMC), and Xi’an CCCC Civil Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (CCCC Civil Tech), were officially launched today at the headquarters of Datong Road & Bridge. The first batch of products will be delivered to the Qinghai Daqing Project of CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd.

As the “joints” of a bridge, bearings play a critical role in connecting the superstructure and substructure, directly impacting both safety and service life. Responding to national strategies and CCCC’s mission of advancing “great national infrastructure,” CCMC has spearheaded the development of the “Jiaorong Tianxia” brand by integrating high-quality resources and building an independent, controllable industrial chain.

This collaboration highlights the synergy of central enterprises and local partners in driving innovation in high-end transportation equipment. CCMC brings robust supply chain integration and resource assurance; CCCC Civil Tech contributes advanced research and engineering expertise; and Datong Road & Bridge provides decades of manufacturing experience and craftsmanship.

The “Jiaorong Tianxia” bearings deliver major performance enhancements. Using high-strength alloy materials and innovative composite coatings, they have demonstrated stability under extreme loads with a significantly extended service life. Equipped with advanced seismic isolation technology, they ensure the safety of bridges in high-intensity earthquake zones. Furthermore, with embedded fiber optic sensors and IoT modules, the bearings enable real-time monitoring of displacement and stress, supporting predictive maintenance through “visualized health management.”
